I watch the Yankees try to win without Cliff Lee. And I watch the 2011 Astros so you don't have to.

Tigers 5, Yankees 4
A new definition of torture: sitting at Minute Maid (on, by the way, Jeff Bagwell gets his number retired) watching the Yankees fail to erase a one-run deficit over five innings.
You boys ever hear of hitting? Kinda helps you score some?
Jeter and Posada sit. Giambi and Cano do their part.
It's offical, shoot me know, but the meaningful A-Rod clutch hit/RBI watch is now on in full force by me! Seriously, I love him and he carried this team in the dog days of May/June. But it's time for him to crank it out in Sept/October.....right? He's had a number of BIG TIME strike-outs during this semi-rough play.
I will say this, Extra-inning loss to start the Angels series. Extra inning loss to start the Tigers series(one that ended at 3:30am!). And a one-run loss today. no maral victories, but even when losing, they are still extremly competitive.
I'm just wondering now if that GIANT hole they dug in April/May has now left them with ZERO room to have a little funk over 5-6 games.
Oh well, win tomorrow and we split the series. All you can ask for is, win your series at home and split on the road.
I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop in Seattle. I mean it's going to...right?
Hey, why not comment on the Rangers vs Orioles game and the record-breaking? Just for giggles? For your old pal in Dallas, and whose favorite team is the Orioles ('cause of JHU)?

Labor Day, baby. That's where truth will out about the pretenders.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, I had a tremendous time in the hill copuntry. Thanks for asking.
Watch this space, if you care.
