As inevitable as the dawn.
Some thoughts:
1) Years from now, as historians talk of A-Rod's historical April, the fact will emerge that, through it all, the Yankees lost more games than they won.
2) Is Philip Hughes the next Rober Clemens? Or the next David Clyde?
3) Ahhhhhh . . . this is the sort of game that comes out out a Yankee-Red Sox tilt. Blah blah blah.

Let's hope Hughes comes through. Actually, I'm just hoping that he eats some innings. The Yanks will produce the offense.
I'm going to the DBacks tonight with great seats on the first base side and will get to see the "Big Unit" go against a "Bigger(wider) Unit"...David Wells. Two ex Yankees.
Two ex-Yanks. One was a complete bust and an A-Hole on top of it (Unit) and the other was loved and still loved by Yankee fans (Boomer). The latter of course, peaked with his perfect game and dipped low with his injury in the World Series that sent the rotation and the bullpen in a tailspin. They never recovered and lost the the Marlins.
Yikes! Hughes beat my call up prediction by more than 2 months!!
Go Boomer!!!
Go Padres!!!
