There must be a ton of: switch hitting, 200+ Hr's,catchers who are durable enough to catch an average of 147 games played a year over a 10 year career, with as many clutch hitting stats as posada.
My "pinstripes make players seem better than they really are" comment in no way refers to every Yankee player to ever wear the uniform.
You must admit that Yankee hype makes EVERY prospect and player appear to be better than they really are. And of course sometimes they are as good as advertised, and then some.
But for every Jeter, Posada and Bernie, there are dozens of average dudes wearing pinstripes, who appear better than they really are.
