Detroit played Seattle. Whoever won would be two games back if the Yankees lost.
But they won.
As been said: A-Rod has long since wrapped up the MVP. But Posada is second. Again.
And this, too: Chamberlain, Melky, Cano, Hughes . . . and Kennedy.
All of a sudden, I like the team's future.

Did not know that. Melky, Hughes, Joba, Cano, Kennedy, Shelly, Wang, and a not-too-old Jeter and (if they sign him) A-Rod.
Plus Posada, who seems to improve with every season.
The next few years are going to be fuuuuuun.
