Last night's nightcap didn't happen, though I did see it coming. Yesterday afternoon's 2-1 victory was so marvelous--really, only college football, and maybe golf, can compete with baseball for making you happy just to be alive--I knew the nightcap could only be a let-down, even with a Yankee win.

Yes, it was great to see the Randy of old. Wish Proctor could have gone more than one inning. I agree,the Sunday night game was predictable especially since they were going against a "callup". What happens when the Yankees face someone for the first time?
PS When Bobby Cox wobbled out to home plate last night to argue balls and strikes, it looked to me that he has been unable to stay away from that southern barbeque.
