Ducks lose?

So all of a sudden the Sun Devils can get to the Rose Bowl, but the Trojans can't, not without some help.

I think.

College football is the only venue in which the team ahead of you losing is potentially bad news.

It's not looking good for USC. Still, if Dixon is indeed out for the season and especially if Jonathan Stewart isn't healthy either, Oregon could easily lose another game. Since their only remaining games are Pac-10 games, that means USC could still back into the Rose Bowl.

This is simply an AMAZING turn of events.

First of all, Dixon looked like he was on roller skates in the 1st three series against uofa. He was running at will, choosing which of his three wide open receivers to throw to, and the rats looked completely overmatched against a Dixon led spread offense.

A blink of an eye- Dixon is out Leaf is in and the Ducks folded the tent and flew home.

NOW...are you kidding me? The ASU/USC game is now for the Rose Bowl?

My only worry is this. 4 weeks ago ASU was crusing along and then BAM...Torain done for the season and Rudy has the bad thumb. 4 weeks ago USC had Sanchez at QB, lost to Stanford and 3/5ths of the O-line was hurt. Now Booty is back and they seem to be clicking again.

Two teams going in the oppisite direction? Who knows. ASU gave up two special team TD's to UCLA and let them stick around. But the Devil D played an AMAZING game. USC looked ordinary against a Cal team that tried numerous times to let the Trojans run away with the game in Berkley. But in the end a hobbled and clearly having a baaaaad night Longshore and the bears were 11 yards away from a tying TD with a minute to go.

So? Well if history serves well, one thing is for sure. Sun Devil Stadium at night versus a ranked opponent is well.....you know....AWESOME!
