Rays 6, Yankees 2

CC, c'mon.

Still quiet on the Roy Halladay front. What is funny, and it just occurred to me, is that my two favorite teams, the Yankees and Astros, might meet their demise this season due to two players named Halladay and Holliday (St. Louis, Matt).

Well, mediocre pitching and fielding= loss. You wanna feel worse? Make believe you're a Sawx fan and lose after being up 3 runs in the 9th.

Okay, Yanks win tonight 6-2. Brooooooooney stunk it up in the 9th. Triple, HR and a double. What? Was he trying to pitch for the cycle?

But the story of the night was Joba. DOMINANT from start to finish, and the hitting and fielding was nothing short of stellar.

Now after the game on Baseball Tonight. Steve Phillips said he was told by "Yankee Brass" that Joba is headed back to the bullpen to protect his arm. WHAT???!!! I just don't understand that if it is indeed true.
